The argument

The technology is rarely the problem.

Most organisations own more technology than they use. The ERP is licensed for modules nobody switched on. The budget lives in a spreadsheet beside a planning tool that was bought to replace it. The ESG report is still put together the old way, from email threads. The AI pilot worked, and then stayed a pilot.
